Results matching fewer words - potential bug

For the past two days in New Zealand I've been plagued with a rather bizarre problem concerning the search function.  I regularly search for Muppet Photos and I usually get x number of results.  However, since yesterday all that happens is that only one result comes up, and below I get a heading that reads "Results matching fewer words" that includes one page of results.  No second page of results is showing.  I have to change the search keywords if I want to see lots of results.

This *isn't* just happening on my home laptop, I'm also getting the same problem on the computers in my work place.

I am getting the same problem using Ebay.com, but it's normal on the likes of Ebay.co.uk and Ebay.ie!!! And it started for me two days ago like you!!!

I too am in N.Z.  And am now having the same problem

Have just tried EBay.uk and it works as it should. So it is a problem eith EBay.com only.

Yes exist a bug and errors in ebay search engine

i confirm for example i search "120mm fan" i get 0 results and a lot of results under line "Results matching fewer words"

I get this also, even if i copy paste some items name.. it does not show up in search.

I tried the same and got thousands of results in the right place.

I have the same problem, using the ebay app (in Sweden). It often claims there are 0 results, and then will list "results matching fewer words", even though those include exactly the words I searched for.

I am in Japan and have a same problem. I found category "eBay Motors" " Clothing, shoes and accesories"  did not have such problems.

It must be a bug. If I search for

Matchbox Lesney

I get thousands of hits. If I search for 

Matchbox

I get no hits and a list of Results matching fewer words. It must be a bug. I am in Denmark.

I tested also this "120 fan", and it gives no results.
