The dealer bought 300 copies at $3600 and scored one upright.

$75k - $3600 = $71,400 profit.

6@$15k = $90,000 - $3600 = $86,400 profit.

I'm sorry, but you have me at a disadvantage here.  What the hell is an upright Jenny?  You have the inverted one and the regularly issued one.  What did the dealer so\core when he got "one upright"?  Sorry for my ignorance.

Re: INVERTED JENNY RIGHT SIDE UP SELLING PRICE 75,000.00 OR 15,000.00 FOR SINGLES

The new $2  Jenny panes were printed with 6 upside down airplanes each for a total cost of $12. The USPS decided that as a gimmick they would randomly insert 100 panes with the airplane right side up and create an instant rarity. 10 panes out of the 100 are known to have been found. Dealer buy price is $25,000 and one dealer is asking $75,000 or $15,000 per stamp.

Re: INVERTED JENNY RIGHT SIDE UP SELLING PRICE 75,000.00 OR 15,000.00 FOR SINGLES

redwoodrandy8  your numbers are wrong as he still has the stamps for postage .his real cost is 12.00 for the one rare sheet .anybuddy who buys this sheet is out of their mind.  .you can adv. to buy for 30,000.00 and be the best buy price and save yourself 45,000.00 less ad cost. their are many errors in the run .my guess at lease 50 to 75 diff some of these may be less then 100 so how much are these worth as they are real errors not some made up rip off . someone will have to write a book just on this sheet and get some est. on just how many their are . some of them i have only seen a few on e-bay maybe 300,000 sheet have been sold and only 3 of some of the errors have showed up on e-bay or what i found. at that rate only 7 or so will show up..who knows

You are correct. Thank you. His profit then would be even greater.

Well maybe not greater but substantial. The stamps could be used for postage or sold. The $12 starting point is correct.

Re: INVERTED JENNY RIGHT SIDE UP SELLING PRICE 75,000.00 OR 15,000.00 FOR SINGLES

please note  35 to 40 were found per linn's stamp news .the rest is sitting in a desk at the stamp center .a person who work their started to send some out (( 3 )) to buyers from the stamp center and was stopped .so all of the errors were not put in the run .their was 100 . i would like to know what is going to happen to the rest ???? and yes their were many other errors with a few that maybe is under 25 yet they sell for very little .had. a 1 of a kind  one that was never seen again on e-bay or any place else i think it had about 8 errors on all six stamps with one being not seen again  .sold that one for 200.00. had another one that was jam in the machine and it had the paper folds .never seen another one like it again .sold many of the errors my guess about 60 diff . had a whole collection of them.
