Any Way to Hide Just One Item?

I think I know the answer to this, but am looking for affirmation...

Is there any way to hide just one of my active items without having to put my entire store on vacation?

Or, do I just need the end the listing and re-list the item later when it's ready to be offered again?

TIA

You can extend the handling time or end that single listing. I do not see an option to hide only some fixed price listings and not others.

ETA: Here's the link for vacation settings. Not sure if you'll find any more useful info there.

As noted, you can revise the handling time, but of course only if you're will to to sell the item now but not ship it right away.  If you want to give the item a sales break (for instance, consign it someplace for a while) then you do have to end it.

If it's a "Good until canceled" listing, you could activate the "Out of stock" option in your Site preferences, then reduce the quantity of that item to zero. You might want to test that on a less-important listing, to make sure that the new site preference will "take" for an existing listing.

Thanks, @copper.boom   I had already looked at the link you referenced and it sounds like it's an "all or nothing" proposition -- put the entire store on vacation and hide ALL fixed price listings or just end the listing in question.

I had pretty much come to the conclusion that ending the listing was the only option but I thought perhaps I overlooked something.  Bummer as I hate to use/waste the listing from my monthly store allotment in order to handle the problem.

Sure would be nice if there was a way on eBay to "deactivate" a listing temporarily as is possible on other sites, but no such luck it appears.   Regardless, thanks for weighing in!   🙂

Thanks, @partial*eclipse.    It wasn't a GTC listing, so I ended up just ending the item and will re-list it later.  As I mentioned to @copper.boom earlier, I thought perhaps that was my only option but "hope springs eternal" there may have been another way.  😉

Thanks for responding.  Will keep the GTC  "method" your suggested on my mental list of possibilities if I have a similar situation arise down the line with one of those...
