Does eBay add countries to your exclusion list based on what you're selling?
I sell internationally with NO exclusions what so ever.
However today when relisting an item and checking over the page for errors and what not I saw the following:
Excludes: Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Latvia, Thailand, Romania, Russian Federation, Vietnam, South Africa, China
I double checked the listing and I have NO EXCLUSIONS listed.
The item in questions is a video game. It is "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2".
I checked other video games I have listed and haven't found any that have exclusions of then that particular game.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Now i have two listings up for this game. One is for the Xbox 360 console and the other is for the Playstation 3 console.
Both of those games have those exclusions.
However the one for the Wii U does NOT have those exclusions neither does any of the collector's editions for that game.
Furthermore the first Call of Duty: Black Ops game doesn't have exlcusions either.

And when I got to
My eBay --- Account ---- Site Preferences --- Selling Preferences --- Buyer Requirements
Buyer requirements Hide
Block buyers who:
^ Meaning I don't have any requirements or restrictions.
Maybe I just need to cancel and redo the listings from scratch? I can't seem to get rid of those requirments.
Now I feel like I need to waste an hour or so going over all my listings.

it is happening to me too .. on all cds and dvds i listed yesterday same countries excluded must be a site issure called ebay and so far they are clueless as to what is happening .. glad to see it was not just me

I'm glad to know it isn't just me but this is another headache that I did not bring on myself.
I can't fix the problem because when I try to edit the item through turbolister or through ebay.com directly it states that I have no exclusions despite what the listing is saying.
It is good to know that eBay is limiting my sales and they can't fix it.
It's also good to know that I support these jokers to the tune of 2-3 thousand a month.

this is actually happening to everyone that lists anything international .. just checked a bunch of random new listings from different sellers and saw the same exclusions on their listings.. even people from other countries where getting this same list. ebays help center is flooded with calls today so must be a lot of people complaining right now..

However, it is a good list of countries not to ship to. Perhaps they've finally realized that these are the countries that have the most complaints on non receipt and have decided it's best if people do not ship there. I already have all but China on my blocked list.

"Excludes: Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Latvia, Thailand, Romania, Russian Federation, Vietnam, South Africa, China"
This happening to me also for no reason
my feedback is 100% both as buyer and seller

This appears to be a new eBay feature, and if those UPCs are indeed banned in those countries, it should be a welcome one.
I'll fix that for you:
"This appears to be a new eBay GLITCH"
They aren't banned. It's not welcome.

Did eBay opt you in to the GSP program? It excludes a number of countries.
Either that, or the software to handle the GSP exclusions might be bleeding over into other areas of the site (software glitches).

I'm wondering if this isn't somehow related to this topic:
It seems eBay is on some new crusade to enforce international trade regulations...
FWIW, I'm not seeing any additions of the referenced countries being added to my exclusion list, but none of my stuff has a UPC, and Saudi / UAE are the only two not already on my list.

Here is a list of whats banned where, I don't know how up to date it is.
But beware buyers in those countries come here to buy games that they can't anywhere else.
Video came consoles that can down load these banned games from the us are also banned in some EU countries.
