Did you mean:

mystery pottery mark

I've had a painted vase for years that appears made from terra cotta, to judge by the color under a flaked-off paint area. Attached is a photo of the mark on the bottom. It looks like the intitlals PCP, would this be pacific coast pottery? thank you!

Re: mystery pottery mark

Maybe a picture of the object would help.   The only example of this mark I found was on the bottom of a pottery lamb figurine.

Re: mystery pottery mark

Hello

I came across your posting as I also have a vase with that marking on the bottom.

Did you ever get an answer as to who the initials PCP belong to?

Thanks,
Jean

Re: mystery pottery mark

Did anyone ever find out what the mystery mark on the bottom of the vase was?  It said PCP.  I have a vase with the same mark.  I thought maybe Paden City Pottery.

Re: mystery pottery mark

I know this post was ages ago but I'm hoping someone found the answer. I have a vase with the same stamp- as pics. Any ideas?
