cranberry glass with sterling base

Good afternoon.

Can anyone tell me anything about this cranberry glass piece with a sterling base. It is 3 1/2" tall, 2 1/2" diameter at the base & 2" diameter at the top rim. Would you call this a juice glass or what? Maybe a cordial? Does anyone know the maker? Thanks for any help! ginaIMG_2826.JPGIMG_2831.JPGIMG_2832.JPG

Looks like a cranberry stain over clear. I do not think it is a drinking vessel. I reminds me of a cigarette holder for a smoking set. Thee were often fancy and sterling used as a foot like yours.
