Please help ID maker of reverse painted plate

Any help is appreciated in Identifying name of artist on this plate. Signed and dated '84. Has 3 round glass ball feet and looks like foil under the glass. Measures 12" square. Thanks for help.

Anybody know who might have made this red glass gold fleck dog.

He's approximately 6" high and 6" long glass is red and yellow mix with gold flecks.
