How do I tell if a buyer has unpaid marks against him?

How do I tell if a buyer has a record of not paying.  Seems like I am getting a lot of no pays

There is no way to know - ebay doesn't divulge that info.  But you can set your blocks for anyone with 1 or 2 UPI's - and that might help.

go to your my ebay page

hover over account tab

click on site preferences

scroll down to buyer requirements and click on show

OP's - give details and don't make us guess what you're asking
use complete sentences and paragraphs (easier to read)
don't type in all caps (hard to read)

RESPONDER's - be polite and not berating or condescending or sarcastic
don't correct the OP's spelling, etc. - that's not what we're here for
don't type in large fonts - just as bad as OP typing in caps

Modify your profile - block bidders with 2 or more non-payment strikes

Block bidders with <0 feedback

Block bidders without a paypal account.

If you sell using buy-it-now listings, set them up to require immediate payment.

Anyone you have to file a dispute on for non payment, also put them on your blocked bidder list.

You can not see the strikes - only eBay can.

You can look at their feedback and see bid retractions.

And yes, the problem rate 'seems' higher.

Upper right corner on this page, click 'customer support'. Type your question into the input box, and click the 'search' button.

You and I don't know- But ebay Sys.set where UPI buyer try to buy from the who already set their site reference to 2 strike and the buyer out. One of the reason buyer could not figure it out until when they get a message about the UPI strike.
