Hmmm? Thanks but No thanks!
I just noticed a change as I submitted a response to someone's post. I used the "@username" convention to notify a poster of an answer to their question.
When I submitted the post, I got an error message telling me that there were HTML problems with the post. It was strictly a rich text post so I never entered any HTML.
Then I noticed that the @username became a link to that users profile page rather than a "greyed out" notification to that user. I don't know if this is a glitch or a change in the way the system works.
I have learned a few things about using the message system from reading other posts and exploring various features on my own. I have looked for, but never found, a set of instructions to using the various features and conventions available such as the "@username" notification syntax. It has made me feel stupid in the past when I had to ask how to edit a recent post because I had not yet found that option on my own. It would be very helpful to be able to refer to some set of instructions to using this system. Is such a guide available? If not, perhaps it would be a worthwhile effort to create an eBay/Lithium Community user guide.
(the @username link thing seems to have been a glitch because I just tried it again at the top of this post and the "greyed out" thing is back)
On posting it became a link to my profile, again when posting I got an HTML error message.
I have had no sales in over a week very odd. so I called someone and had them click the buy it now on one of my listings guess what. I had been thinking no one could buy some how. And yup theres a glitch they could not buy anything from my listings. Way to get small sellers to go away just glitch the site so no one can buy from them.
