GM Guide Glare Proof Rear View Mirron in box - YEAR

Mirror is a brown color and in original Box. Does anyone know the years for this item?  Same color as the Clock Delete Plate I have running.  So maybe around 1939? Thanks for help.

It looks like there is a part number on the corner of that box.  You can usually tell by the part number but, I can't read it in your photos

Just an FYI...This is NOT a "glare proof" (tilting) mirror.  As is many times the case, the dealer (or whom ever) replaced the existing non-glare-proof mirror, in the car, with the new one.  They put the old, replaced mirror, in the new glare-proof mirror box.  Note your mirror does not have the tilt tab in the bottom center, as is pictured on the mirror on the box. I'd say this happens with close to 50% of these glare-proof mirrors, well in to the 1960's.
