What Do You Know About Pagsta Cycles??

We were at the OPE show and they were trying to get dealers. They have a 250 coming that looked OK for a small bike and the prices were right. They claim Honda makes the engine. They have one called the Choppa (little one lunger) and an even smaller one. We are not seriously considering being a dealer but thunk I might get a sample at the dealer price.

Give the Chinese another 10 years and quailty may come up to that of japanese bikes made in the 70s......

Back when we were riding mostly Brit bikes, we laughed at the Japanese for trying to peddle their cheap junk in the US. History has a way of repeating itself. Get used to it. The Chinese are coming.

I met Johnny Pag when I lived in SoCal. Friend of a friend kinda thing. Johnny Pag had been fairly active in SoCal motorcycles for awhile. Since leaving there, I have heard his name mentioned here and there about his doings.

I believe pagsta is made in the US by a custom motorcycle builder using Honda engines. It s the knockoff you gotta watch

I am a dealer for the Pagsta bikes.I was told they are made in utah,I bought three of them (that is the dealer minimum purchase)Have had trouble selling. Retail price seems to be to high for what you get.

Pagsta scooters are manufactured in Australia using a Chinese knockoff of the reliable circa 1970's Honda 50cc small trail bike motor. They are fun to play with, but not reliable enough to use for everyday commutes. I own two and parts are near impossible to find. Some parts may be used such as the carb. The old brass style floats in the factory carb are guaranteed to fail. Rumors that Honda Rebel parts will interchange are basically untrue. The Pagsta Co. must have took several styling points from the Rebel, but few parts, if any will interchange. The Pagsta should not be confused with Johnny Pag, the motorcycle designer.

I have a 2005 johnny pagsta cruisa. I need a part and I am not sure of the name of it but it is located on the left side and is is like a plastic fuel bowl/tube?? that twists up into the carburetor> It lost its thread and began to leak. The part is completely missing at this point, misplaced. Could you please help me name the part and help me locate one for my bike. Thanks

Hello from 2019! You were right! The thing is Chinese manufacturers have no choice but to up their quality to compete amongst themselves for our purchase.
