What is a Final Value Fee credit?

A Final Value Fee credit is part of the bookeeping on your monthly eBay bill. It is NOT payment sent to your Paypal account and you cannot spend it on buying items in eBay.

Why is there a Final Value Fee credit?

When you have a listing end with a winning bid or buyitnow, eBay immediately (without telling you) adds a 10% Final Value Fee for that winning amount on your monthly eBay bill.  You will be paying that FVF when your eBay bill comes due.

If your buyer doesn't pay for their win, you can get a Final Value Fee credit to take the FVF for the winning bid/byyitnow off your bill by officially closing the  transaction. The processes available to close the transaction are found in the Resolution Center (see the dropdown menu under Customer Support in the top right corner of this page).
