returning money to PaylPal account, while having no account, just credit card

Dear all,

I am quite new to eBay and Paypal payments.

I've ordered a good, which was not delivered. The customer service investigated it and closed my case saying the money returing to my paypal account.

Since I do not have an account, I paid by entering the credit card details, I wonder how the money will be sent back.

Is it needed to have internet payments/3ds active on my card for returing as well? I have them off, so probably the return is not possible to be done...

I can not find thepossibility to respond back to customer service or reopen the case again..
