maximum amount of characters ebay allow you to use on your ebay username

I was thinking of changing my user name. Would you know the maximum amount of character ebay allow a person to use ?

I did a search for a "username" with 40 characters and it was accepted.  I wouldn't use more than that.  In fact, unless the username is easy to remember, who wants to type out 40 characters?
