final value fees 15%?

New to selling and recently Sold a handfil of items. When I was posting the auction it kept saying free. Now I get bill for 34$. I think it should say they get 15% of final price when you're preparing a post. I thought I was only being charged by paypal, And I thought that because it kept saying no fees. Is that 15% how they do it? I'm still not sure. Can someone tell me if  thats what they charge for standard listing, no extras? My invoice wasn't exactly itemized.
