Sold a item, but have not received the money.

I have recently sold an item for 500$ and it shows that the item is sold, but now on the left side where my payments are it shows I have recieved $0 and not recieved is $500. Does this mean the buyer has not paid because it shows $500 not recieved? I checked my paypal and it shows that I have no recieved any money yet either.
