I purchased an item on Ebay. Carefully checked the shipping charges, $17.00. Decided to buy. Now the Seller is emailing me asking me for for $43.00 MORE to ship to me. Can I hold the Seller to the posted shipping charge?
I don't know how to reply to the people who left comments so I am thanking this via my original message, and will use the wording suggested by Madonna. I didn't think I needed to pay the extra shipping but needed to make sure I was in the right to refuse the additional postage requested. Thank you again.
I contacted the Seller and gave them the reply that was suggested. The Seller turned around this morning and cancelled the sale and refunded my money. Is there a way I can make them ship me my purchase? How do I contact Ebay to report them for this unethical practice?
Right now, although I still want the item, I'm focused more on principle. Thank you for any suggestions.
