Did you mean:

Retractable Bids

So according to eBay.

"In general, bids can't be retracted, but there are some exceptions:

  • You made a mistake when entering your bid, e.g. $50 instead of $5.

  • The item's description changed significantly after you placed your bid.

  • You can't contact the seller."

    So how is this Retractable?

I put up for auction my item at 150 and it had 1 bid then in the morning i saw 207 (i got happy) and now its 150 again with a bunch of 150 bids.

So how does this become retractable? My other problem is feel that people can just bid to check out how much are otherp people willing too pay then if they see the item is way out of their range they would cry to ebay telling them they made a mistake.

I was trying to think that maybe the guy wanted to bid 20 but thats imposible.. so maybe lets just say he made a mistake of adding 200.. but if that was the case.. why would the bid escalate to 211.22 when in the morning was 207?
