Whenever I try to change my shipping address's city from "Potomac" (incorrect city" to "Maryland" (correct city) it does not let me, and instead tells me "We compared the shipping address you provided with postal service records and found some inconsistencies. Please edit the original address you provided, or choose to proceed with the recommended address." I did not realize before that eBay auto-corrected my city to Potomac before ordering an item, and the item was missent as "Potomac" was not the correct city in which I reside. My zip code is 20850, and that seems to work fine along with my address. except when I try to input my city as "rockville", the corresponding city to the zip code 20850, it doesn't let me. Please help!

eBay goes by USPS database. Your city may be Potomac, but using Rockville won't make a difference.

Default City Name in ZIP Code™ 20850

Please use the default city whenever possible.
