skew8581 (26591 ) This seller has a silk tie up for auction (see above) at a starting price of $.01 + free shipping. I noticed the auction said there were 6 bids. How is it possible to have 6 bids, and the price is currently at one cent? Is this a scam? Why are sellers doing things like this? I also had another experience where I bid on an item with a low price and someone outbid me several times. There was no activitiy on this item the whole time during the auction and now sudden interest? A friend told me it was the seller outbidding me, to try to get me to bid higher, and ultimately pay more for the item. Can they do this? Is this allowed by eBay? Someone please respond!
