How to pay for items

Hello!

I've bought 5 beer steins and 1 collector's plate. I would like the seller to combine all items in one package in order to save on the shipping. However, combined invoice he charged me was with the lump summ of all items' shipping costs. As I've bought all steins very cheap, I think he wants to make additional income on the shipping costs. I had shipment of 14 steins and paid only $41 for it! And he now wants me to pay $80. I'm ready to pay for safe packaging and so on, but I'm not willing to pay double if he wants to earn on shipping. More, he doesn't respond to my multiply letters at all.

What should I do? Should I pay his invoice and file a claim to Ebay for fair shipping price? Or should I claim now until the seller sends me adequate invoice? Could You please tell me how to make such claims?
