Cancelling a transaction per buyer request

I recently sold an article of clothing & the buyer paid promptly. Approximately half a day later (and just prior to the item being shipped) she sent me a message that she didn't read the item description or look at all the pictures and would like to cancel. Am I correct that she missed her timeframe to cancel the transaction herself and that as the seller it's now my responsibility to do so? Also, just wanted to clarify that once she is refunded and the request to cancel sent - if she doesn't agree to the cancellation I can close the request myself after x amount of days, recieve my FVF back & will not receive a mark on my account for the cancellation because it was requested by the buyer? Thank you.
