Canceled a purchase - Still shows I need to pay

I accidentally dbl ordered an item and immediately contacted the seller to inform them what I had done and I put in a cancel request. I also went ahead and paid for the item and sent a cancel request for the duplicate one. Somehow when ebay canceled the duplicate one they canceled the one I had already paid for. Now it shows the item has been canceled, but that I still need to pay for it. Everytime I go to check out I have to make sure and uncheck the box next to that item or I will be double paying for it. I called ebay and they told me to HIDE the item on my ebay page. Which I did, but it did not fix the problem and it says I still need to pay for a trnasaction that has been canceled. Anyhow have any idea how I can clear this off my ebay page so that it doesn't try and make me pay for it everytime I check out now??
