18K white gold butterfly brooch - marked LV or EV?

Is anyone familiar with this mark?  Stamped with what looks like LV or EV?  Also marked 750 for 18k.  Any idea what the purple material might be?  

 

I didn't post it to the fine jewelry board because I've always heard that it moves much slower & there are so many all-around knowledgeble folks here, that I thought I'd give this a try first.  Thanks for any info!

I believe your butterfly pin is by E&V Jewellery of Hong Kong.  Please see link above.  There is a clear representation of their mark.

Company Logo shows to the Left of write-up. The Logo is the same as your item's Mark. This is often the way Marks are.
