Question On Trifari Pin

I just noticed the 2 loops on the back of this pin, instead of just 1.  One loop,I would think, is for wearing on a chain..but have never seen 2.   Anyone know why?    Haven`t tried it yet..but perhaps runnin chain thru both would keep it from 'flopping over?'

I think the double loops are exactly for what you said, to keep heavy brooches from flopping around. This is a heavy poured glass right?

Yepper...it is the poured glass & kinda weighty.  I`ll put in on a chain tomorrow & see how it does.
