Are these actually from a branch of military, or simply a patriotic embellishment? Again Thank You, V76

What does the back look like?

Pretty nondescript, they have a nice weight to them, ( I don't know if thats a plus...) the "fabric" portion is very well done, and detailed. It suprised me there is no mark ( unless of corse the eagle is the mark...?) V76

As a veteran, I assure you that there are no "official" military earrings! We could wear small studs in dress uniform, but not in the every day "battle dress". I was in the Army, and as far as I know, the other services were the same. Probably the laxest was the Air Force, on jewelry, but they weren't big on it, either. Most services did offer "sweetheart" items in the on post shops, though, for the guys to buy for thier civilian girlfriends. These look to me to just be "patriotic" generic earrings with a military flair.
