How to describe this necklace and time period?

Best I can think of is "threaded". I tried searching terms like that but didn't find anything like this. The bail and the chain is making me feel like it may be older but any insight on that as well is much appreciated.

If I remeber right..it is made of satin thread..have had them before but has been awhile

As much Avon is out there..it is defintely worth having!  Over the years Ithink I have handled practically every pc in there except for some of the big designer pcs.  lol
