Help with description of Weiss brooch and Japanned brooch

I purchased a bunch of vintage jewelry this past weekend and have a lot more questions than answers. I will put two brooches into this post.

First, a 2" Weiss dome brooch that has what looks like blown glass dangling flowers.  Are these glass beads?  Age of brooch?

2-1/4" unmarked, Japanned brooch.  Could it be D&E?

I just have to comment on that Weiss brooch, it's lovely and truly unique.

There is one on Etsy (different colour) , and the flowers are described as blown glass.
