Help with Sterling NA? ring

I couldn't get the color exactly right on the stone...it has more of a tan color to it.

Any idea on the stone?

Could this ring be NA?

It has a marking and then the word STERLING.

Can anyone make out the mark or have a link I can check?

It's not NA,Bell Trading Post,could be agate or petrified wood.
