Help to id this costume jewelry set

I found this set at an estate sale and thought it was just junk but after looking closer, all the pieces are marked "sterling".  I know very little about this type of jewelry and would be grateful for any info.  The pieces are "gold" colored and the stones sort of a light purple color.  No makers marks.

Without a makers mark unfortunately there is a very slim chance of ever knowing which company made this. This style was very popular during the middle of the 20th century.

Some keywords to consider: Vermeil, gold wash, retro, ribbon, bow, floral,1940s, 1950s if you are planning to sell this set.
