Yes, it does look like Ivory, but I don't think it is. It does not look like bone so my guess would be plastic or possibly vegetable ivory unless it is heavier. If it's heavier, it could be alabaster. Based off the clasp, my guess on age would be 50s or 60s.

Though the beauty may be in the butterfly, the struggle and growth occur in the cocoon.

Ok. Thank you. I was worried because I saw faint lines running through it I didn't think none but I am not sure why. I didn't get a plastic vibe from it but it is shiny
