There really is some lettering on the back in a rectangle and I think I can make out the letters but it is very hard to see. I don't think anyone will be able to read it but I thought someone might recognize the look. There is a photo with just camera and one through magnifying glass but not loupe as I could not focus it well enough.
I did a search on ebay for HAR swan brooches but did not find this particular swan.
