Knotty pine or cedar

I've been trying to sell this extremely heavy, solid wood end table for 2 years. It has an open area to store books or magazines and one pull-out drawer on the bottom. I started at $50, then dropped to $25, now I'm down to $10 and nary a "nibble". Is this style too outdated for modern decors? I wanted to be sure of the type of wood when I advertise it - I've been identifying it as knotty pine, but I've also seen cedar items that looked a lot like this wood. Please advise as to type of wood and a fair market value for it.

Knotty pine or cedar

i like it -of coarse i am 63-if its EXTREMLY heavy as you say-likely would be more like maple and the router detail is a little refined for soft wood (like cedar/pine)-if you were close to me i would buy it.

It looks like pine to me and you make advertise it for a redo as people are doing alot of milk paint these days. There is a neat site called everything but the house you might want to check out to sell big items on.
