Could you post a pic? Are the pearls real?

What does RTI 14K on the clasp of a demi parure set that looks like small grey pearls mean? I get the 14K but what is the RTI?

You really can't trust anything now-days without having it tested (stones, pearls, metals). Tags can be changed. Metals can be stamped wrong. Sometimes plated metals are stamped or listed as solid.

Stones can be misrepresented as natural or synthetic when they are simulants.

Pearls very rarely turn out to be natural. Sometimes they are "cultured pearls". There's also a lot of ground fish scales and ground-up shells glued together to form "simulated pearls", which are often wrongly called "shell pearl". Pearls are either: natural, cultured, or simulated.

Hi,

The RTI is most likely the manufacturers mark. It's possible it is the manufacturer of just the findings to your set and not who created the pieces. Do you have a picture?
