I don't understand why I am not able to give negative feedback to the buyer. The person did not pay and I had to open an unpaid claims case. They never responded to my emails. Its really simple for a buyer to give negative feedback for an item but why can't the seller about a horrible buyer? This is the second time someone has not paid for an item, isn't there more protection for sellers that have these problems with people who won't pay and don't respond to messages or emails?

seller protection is:
1. Open an Unpaid item case 4 days from the end of the sale.
2. If the buyer doesn't pay after 4 more days, close the case with a strike against the buyer.
3. Set your seller preferences to block any buyer with 2 or more unpaid strikes.
That is far more effective than any feedback. You can't leave negative feedback for a buyer, and don't even think about leaving a positive feedback with negative comments. It's a policy violation and you could be reported for it.

Feedback is just wind. It doesn't affect the buyer at all. He can continue to bid and buy. Nonpayment strikes impact the buyer in a big way -- as long as savvy sellers have nonpayers blocked they will be unable to buy for a year.
