Chanel Scarf-fake?

My gut tells me it's fake, but I am not finding photos of other fake ones like this one, just one that sold in another color.

The stitching looks machine done and I'm not sure about the print.

Before I stick it in a yard sale I thought I would reach out to the EXPERTS(:

Thanks in advance.

Carrie

Definitely fake, sorry. Hem and font incorrect.

It's illegal to sell anywhere, even a yard sale. Please don't do that.

If you don't want to just dispose of it, it might make a nice dust rag for cleaning your furniture. Then discard!

You can also use it for wrapping jewelry and other small items that need protection. Just mark it with a permanent black marker to keep it out of circulation for the future. Finding usable purpose for unsalable items is better than putting them into landfills.

You might want to start a new thread with your photographs - sometimes tagging onto older threads won't get as much attention as you need for your authention.

Hi Vanessa: Thanks but I couldn't find how to start a new thread. The Help screen wasn't very helpful.

If you go to the fashion home page (rather than opening a thread), you'll see a "start a new discussion" button to click on:

Just an FYI: Donating a fake isn't something that is recommended. It's keeps the fake in circulation, possibly fooling the next buyer into believing it's genuine and eventually, the fake will end up back on ebay or another site, continuing the cycle.
