The remote I just recieve  dose not come on when pressing power button it dose not work

you say remote will not come on,or is it that it wont turn on device (tv) ?first thing you could do is to check batteries/replace batteries,did you program it to your devce (tv),look at instructions.

If you have a phone camera point the remote led at the lens you will see the led light blink when you press the button.
