Early Japan Ugly Doll? Please help ID.

I need help identifying the maker of this doll marked Japan.  It looks similar to the ugly dolls except it is larger, and no hair.  The gentleman that it belonged to is in his mid 60's so I feel the age of the doll is 1950's but I am not sure.  From what I have been reading on here, ugly dolls were made in the 60's and 70's.  My pictures don't show it clearly but there are two freckles, one on each cheek.  It measures 9" tall.  Once identified, I would like to know a value as I plan to sell it.  Thank you.IMG_1135.JPGIMG_1138.JPGIMG_1142.JPG

Looks like there is a marking on the doll's back.

What does it say?   That may lead you to the manufacturer or other info to help you identify.

Where's the kaboom? There was supposed to be an earth shattering kaboom!"

@happymom37 Looks like a Shiba doll to me.  I hope that is helpful.

Thank you for your response.  I think so too.  I can't find a Shiba without hair.  Have you ever seen one?

@happymom37 I scoured and searched and could not find one without hair either.  But yours so resembles the Shiba doll.  I am at a loss but will continue the hunt!
