Old odd looking African lions wood carvings. American circus or zoo folk art maybe.

I've never seen an African carving that looked like these lions carved in pine with glass eyes. More like a folk art carving for food or a dollar at a circus or zoo. Found in SW Ohio. I guess early 1900s.
