Native American Cloth Doll artist L D Martin

This cloth doll is stamped on the cloth leg L D Martin and also has a tag L D Martin Designs along with "The Legend of The Quiet Ones" Soul Searchers Clan attached booklet. Has anyone heard of this type of doll or the artist's affiliation?

They are not new.  They were dug out of an attic Estate Sale. After doing some research, it seems that the Navajo dolls are found with intricate and small jewelry around their necks and as earrings to indicate a spurt of wealth within the tribe.  Probably Navajo.

"Probably Navajo" isn't good enough.  Since you do not know the tribal affiliation of L.D. Martin (or even if there is any tribal affiliation), these cannot be listed as Native American...or Navajo.   They are not dressed in traditional Navajo style.  Navajo women do not wear their hair in this style, nor do they wear clothing with fringe.   These actually look more Apache, in terms of the way they are dressed and hair styles...but definitely not Navajo.
