Sellers of Jewelry ( Costume and junk/craft).

Hello All-  I have a  large quantity of vintage costume jelwerly to sell, specifically  earrings.  I have weaned out stuff that is missing stones or broken, these are just single earrings.  In your opinion, what is the best way to  get the best return on sale?  Sell it as a single auction of 5lbs?  Or  breaking it out by designer, color, style and do multiple auctions?  I am willing to put in the time for multiple auctions, but wanted to ask people who may have a more experienced perspective.  Thank you.  Claire

If they are all single earrings, just one, not two, I would sell as a lot for craft/repair.

Certainly remove any that are silver or gold if there are any.

If some of the single earrings are signed you might want to point those out.  But very few designer earrings are worth much if one of the pair is missing.

Just take a good photo of everything laid out so people can see what they are getting.  People do love these for crafts, making jewelry trees, etc.

Best of luck.

An estate sale is my natural habitat...
