1980's marble, brass, and capiz kimono-shaped table lamp

hello everyone. A customer of mine brought this lamp to my store today and the only thing i could find on it is from 1stdibs.com and they want $5,000 for it. There is no name or stamp on it anywhere. The picture of the lamp isn't my pic but its the same exact thing. I just wanted to know the maker, the value, and maybe any information at all about this oddly beautiful lamp. Thanks.

It was offered on 1stDibs by Designer's Den, St. Leonard, Quebec.  (Postal Code H1P 1Y4)  Maybe someone there could tell you more...??

With no markings of any sort and, perhaps, a unique piece I don't see how anyone here can help, but thanks for sharing.
