** Another neat Copper coin added to Heron's small accumulation!  A neat item

with a Coat of Arms and full date.  Nada mas!   Simple but straightforward.

This coin has been on Heron's 'want list' since 1981.   It is always a super fun time when we can draw that line through the want list listing.

And the search continues.   We never know where a small 'treasure' will be found!

Anywhere from Hong Kong to Latvia or even Hackensack.   This Lindau coin arrived from Osnabrucke.  Seven days enroute!   Good delivery time.    What a fun hobby!

9 Julio 2017 - Hola TDZ your post of 7 Julio 1854 hrs:   Good to 'see' you again!

Yes, the nice photo you posted IS the same coin design as Heron's Lindau 1691.

Only difference is the 1692 vs. 1691.

Heron happens to like trees.  Very much!   So when he saw this tree design he acquired it pronto.   In a way, it sorda looks like 'early' art deco, quizas?

Another 'topical' added to the accumulation.   Some of these items qualify for several different 'topicals'.    This Lindau coin qualifies as a Copper, a tree coin,

a coin issued for an Island,  a Holy Roman Empire coin,  and a wartime

issue [The Nine Years War in Europe].

Thanks again for the nice photo.   It is appreciated.

This coin collecting is all for 'fun'.   Fun for a lifetime!   A super hobby.
