My parents recently left my all of my old grandparents books and I've across an edition of "On Liberity" by John Stuart Mill that is absolutely beautiful. I have spent hours looking over the internet to try to find another version like it. Can any one tell me anything about this and if it might be worth anything? I will post pictures below.

Pretty decorative binding which were common at the turn of the century (ca 1900).
The binding would hold more attraction to those who collect pretty bindings than the contents.
Maybe if you are lucky, $7.99-$9.99. Sorry to disappoint you.

BTW it doesn't matter how old a book is or how 'rare' it is, the key is desirability.

It is nicely preserved, but RM Caldwell was a cheap book reprint house.
If this volume is, indeed, rare, it is because the books were not built to last.
Lludwig has it pegged, and I think a bit aggressively but you might get it at the beginning of the Fall Semester.
