I think you're tilting at windmills. Go back to the old one and maybe someone saved the lost stuff, maybe not. Like I say, it's been this way several months now, at least.

My browser is a pain about the eBay cookies, and it seems to come up with either right where I left off, or post one, with no pattern. For several months at least, maybe more like 3-4, the Ask Any Question thread, when I clicked first time of the day, would start at 2000 something instead of 1.

Apparently, every thread that approaches 10,000 posts is pared down. On another board, I found this number:

"105903 of 114475" was the first post.

The obvious solution is to start and pin a new thread after every 8000 or so posts. Pretty soon, we can have the entire front page filled with pinned posts and the rest of the board reserved for the class clowns.
