Bulova Watch "Digital" Dial Read 1920s 1930s

I have an old Bulova watch with turning dials to view the hour and minutes through two windows on the face of the watch. I can see a 1936 jeweler mark inside the case. So it would be dated to the 1930s, and possibly 1920s. I would like to know if anyone can tell me what this type of watch is known as. Possibly floating dial? Thanks.

Can you post a pic?

The jewelers mark means nothing. On the movement (part that ticks) there will be either a date code, or a symbol code for the older ones. You can see a chart of the codes at myBulova.com under "movements."

Thanks! I see a T on the movement. That would make it a year 1932. I am not sure how to post a photo on the discussion board. I wish I could. Thanks.

First you need a website to host your photo. the code is: (img src= html address) put <> around the string of code instead of () to make it work.
I use webshots.com, but any photo hosting site will work.

I'll take them off in a couple of days, they'll disappear from here.
It's a really nice looking watch, I think it is called wandering hours, not sure, it's late. :smileyhappy:
Goodnight!

Yep this is a 1932 ladies 'Jump Hour'. Lovely watch and rare to see in a ladies size.

It would be great if you could add it to the http://www.mybulova.com website.

All the best

Stephen.
