This message comes up when I am looking at an item and it is becoming very annoying.  Is there some way of getting rid of it?  Is it because I am running Vista? Thank you.

Example:

I am running an old OS ... Windows XP Pro, with 2.5GB RAM

I do not receive that error message on eBay, using Chrome or Firefox.

unless you just started using vista, the problem is probably not with vista.

try updating your browser and doing some routine browser maintenance.

OR...try a different browser.

Several people are asking about this problem. Don't know why it is showing on so many people's computers now. I found this on the Internet.

A stack overflow error is a common error that is seen with increasingly frequency as a computer ages. This is due to an improperly maintained computer registry. The registry is a repository of all of the variables needed by your computer at any one time. One of the characteristics about the registry is that it is never cleaned without manual intervention. You can fix stack overflow errors and many other computing problems through the use of a simple registry cleaner.

cccleaner is free and it hasn't messed up my computer yet.
