I dont use ebay very often so i did not realise that you could 'buy now' an item, but not enter any card information.

so thinking the buyer had paid i sent them the item - so they have it having not paid. 

obviously i reported this to ebay and got that message.

 

i take it that means that i was refunded the 20p or whatever it is that it costs to list an item, but not the money the buyer should owe me?

 

does anyone have any idea if i COULD get my money from ebay?

No. Ebay is not going to reimburse you for your mistake. They didn't get paid either. You just sent the buyer a gift.
