There now seems to be an annoying coupon drop-down menu appearing at the top right corner and drops down at random..I can't get rid of it..don't know why it just suddenly started to appear..does anyone know if eBay is behind this distraction?

It's not eBay. You have picked up some malware on your computer. Run your scans now.
If you need it, go to www.malwarebytes.com for an excellent, free tool.

Hallelujah! I just got rid of the horrid Coupon drop down, by removing my recently installed/updated(don't recall which) FLASH PLAYER!!
I really could not believe Flash Player could be the sinner, but being my only recent installment, I had to take the chance, and removed it!
Instantly, all my troubles with Coupon drop down(with all these ads from women offering their services.. ugh!) were gone!!

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday. Here's how to remove it if you are using Google Chrome. In settings open tools, click on extensions and remove the rogue extension.

Did you do a thorough cleaning with Malwarebytes?
Just because the player is no longer there does not mean that the malware is gone..

My coupon drop down came disguised as web assistant. Uninstalling this through the computer control panel got rid of it
