If there is a 14 day refund deadline and I send before the deadline but it reaches the seller after the deadline, what happens?

I'm trying to refund a phone, there is a 14 day refund deadline.

If I ship it back 12 days after receiving the item but it reaches the seller after the 14 day deadline is my refund valid?


What if it isn't and he keeps both the item and the money?

the 14 days refers to the time limit for notifying the seller there is a problem, or that you want to return the item.

NOT a deadline for returning the item.


did you contact the seller before shipping the item back?

Yes, your refund is valid. You would have contacted the seller to work out details of the return.

Ship back with Delivery Confirmation (Signature, if transaction is greater than $250). Then if no refund, you can file a dispute and you would prove that the seller got the ittem back.
